About Me

Hi! I'm Dr. Jeff Robinson

I am a social psychologist currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto. My work focuses on moral cognition and decision making. More specifically I am interested in how individual differences in beliefs and motivations influence the types of moral values that people internalize and how this impacts their moral judgments. As an extension, I am interested in using insights about the structure of the moral mind to devise interventions that increase the quality, tone, and effectiveness of moral rhetoric while reducing feelings of polarization.  When not in the lab I love traveling with my amazing wife, Sarah, getting into a good documentary, and following my two favourite football clubs, Toronto FC and Chelsea FC
